Iron Truth Barbell screw-type adjustable dumbbells are designed and made by us.
- Heavy duty: These beefy dumbbells are heavy-duty. We believe that they are the most heavy duty adjustable dumbbells in the world.
- Easy to use: Stainless steel screw spins smoothly. The U-shaped plates with handles facilitate quick weight changes so that you can do drop sets, super sets, etc.
- Flexible: You can change weight in 4kg increments (2 x 2kg plates) with the standard plates or 2kg increments (2 x 1kg plates). A pair of heavy adjustable dumbbells is like having a full gym worth of dumbbells. This will cover almost every movement you need to do in a home gym. You would need to buy at least 13 different sizes of dumbbell to come close to the flexibility of these adjustable dumbbells.
- Expandable: Buy more plates and longer screws to build even heavier dumbbells.
With adjustable dumbbells, you will not be limited by what you can do in your routine. From lighter movements like lateral raises to heavy movements like dumbbell press or shrugs or even deadlifts - you can do them all with one set of dumbbells.
How to adjust:
- The adjustment is done by loosening the screw at each end, removing or adding slotted U-shaped plates, then tightening again. Done.
- As per the photos, the slotted U-shaped plates are easy to remove and insert.
- The screw keeps the weights clamped in position during the movement.
- If you are concerned about dropping plates while you lift overhead (e.g. shoulder press) or in front of your head while lying down (e.g. chest press), you can rotate the dumbbells so that the U faces down. But that's just so you feel comfortable, the screws are sufficient if you check they are tight before each set.
As with most equipment, they will last longer if you don't throw them around. If you cannot sit up after dumbbell press, use some padding on the floor to drop the dumbbells onto. Maybe use one of our crash mats?

Postage
Note that if we post these dumbbells to you, the weight plates will be split up into separate packages so that the largest package is no more than 25kg. This reduces freight costs and is safer for the truck driver to load and unload.
